Nagakort

Getting there:

From Kathmandu you have a few varied options that I’m aware of;
1. You can taxi to B and from there catch a local bus.
2. You can arrange a tourist bus for 500 rps from a travel agent or
3. You can taxi from Kathmandu all the way to Nagakort.

We went with option 2 & found it relatively pain free and the bus dropped us right at our cottage. A man met us at the travel agents and walked us to the bus station, which was great.

Things to do:

Relax, unwind and take in the mountain energy. This place is magical. You can do short day treks or treks back to Kathmandu. You can visit the tower, view sunrise and sunset and simply enjoy being present. We personally did our own yoga sessions on the sides of the huge mountains and were totally zen.

Snoozing:

A huge shout out to my friend Owl, for recommending Sherpa Alpine Cottages, you can find them on Facebook and book with them through messenger. Although it may not seem like it, it’s totally legit. However, they now have a website which you can view here. We stayed in room 4 which had it’s own bathroom, a double and a single bed with spectacular views. It cost us 10,000 between us for the room/night.
