Review: Spring Yoga Big Day Out

Spring Yoga Big Day Out is the perfect one day retreat to shed from the dormancy of winter and give time to yourself to emerge freshly into Spring. This year the event was held on Sunday 29 October at the stunning venue of The Boat House, by the shores of Lake Burley Griffin.

Spend a day on your mat and join a collection of like-minded people.

The event is coordinated by Ramone Bisset from Wild Sage Wellbeing who makes you feel welcome and nurtured from the moment you enter. Take in the views of Lake Burley Griffin as you come up into Cobra and embrace this day for your soul.

The day involves 4 yoga sessions focusing on different yoga styles and the teachers provide opportunities to the workshop through any of those yoga pangs you may have. In your breaks treat yourself to a mini facial by Pure Soul Skin Therapy which will completely bliss you out or learn more about Dōterra oils or Aveda products from the friendly staff. You can even book yourself in for a psychic reading with Steven Paul.

This event is not complete without the divine cuisine mastered by The Boat House Canberra. The food is nourishing for the soul and tantalizing for the taste buds, healing you from the inside out.

The Chia puddings were so nice I went twice.

This event is for anyone, of all ages, who wish to give time to and connect with self and learn more about yoga as a practice and a philosophy all within close proximity to the Nation’s Capital. Be sure to keep up to date with any future events and offerings from Wild Sage Wellbeing and I urge you to secure a ticket at the ninth instalment of Spring Yoga Big Day Out. I know I will be!
